At last, some movie news....

I am so glad to report that, after months of there being zero in the way of movie news regarding Jessica Barden's career, Screenterrier has reported that she is in America (New York, to be precise) filming 'Lullaby', alongside Amy Adams and Garrett Hedlund. She plays the part of Meredith - a role that was offered to Hailee Stanfield. When I get more details on this project, I'll post them here.

Sorry for the lack of updates....

I am so sorry for the lack of updates, but news regarding her career has been in very short supply. The publicity momentum to launch her as a future leading lady has tailed off somewhat, and even though she has three films coming up in 2012, two of which see her in the main part, interest in these projects has been at a bare minimum. The gap between October of last year and the first two months of this one has revealed nothing new. Until I do get fresh news about Miss Barden, all I can do is to apologise for the dry spell of career-orientated information about this rising starlet.

Jessica walks down Raindance red carpet....

On October 3rd, Jessica Barden is set to walk down the red carpet at the Raindance Film Festival premiere of 'In The Dark Half', her latest completed movie project. It is her first big screen leading lady role. In fact, it is her lead role in her career as a whole. Should there be any pics of her at this event, I will be posting them here ASAP.

No invite for Jessica to 2011 BAFTA's Brits To Watch event....

I am sorry that my first post contains the news that Miss Barden didn't get invited to the 2011 BAFTA Brits To Watch event in L.A. Her status as a rising starlet could have done with that sort of a boost. As it is, they only invited actresses who hail the south of England. Typical!
